The concept of composite approach was imbibed by him through the diverse experience and trainings received over the years. While today he is the Principal Partner of A & T Consultants (A & T standing for Achalkar and Tatooskar).He spent time as a student in England and worked in an English architectural firm that specialised in theme-based architectural projects. Achalkar’s goal was clear – to become a world-class architect. In order to create better living spaces, he needed to gain better insight into human behaviour and so he entered the field of interior designing where one comes directly in contact with the space user and need to understand every facet of the user’s personality. The experience provided invaluable as can be seen in his creations many years later. They reflect not just the developer’s thoughts but also the occupant’s immediate acceptance of the space provided, as a comfortable, cosy and secure zone – be it for residential, commercial, shopping or entertainment use.

This is where Vikas Achalkar’s 30 years of experience comes into play, having started in 1994. He is the driving force, providing a single point of contact for clients, personally involving in all client interactions so that the client is assured of the best of services, facilitating prompt decision making. Logically, this results in quicker completion of projects, further resulting in higher profits for the Developer and avoiding price escalations.

Having undertaken extensive study tours across India and abroad, Vikas Achalkar understands every cultural fibre of India with a taste, unique to the state or region he belongs to. This deep understanding has been taken advantage of by large architectural firms across India who use his services as the designated local architect. Coupled with Achalkar’s global exposure (he has travelled to more than 78 countries to study their architecture), these large architectural firms find it expedient to deal with him for their local projects of multi-national clients.
